This is still not old enough to get into the U.S. And that is a shame.

That is the most bootylicious hatchback I’ve ever seen.

It looks like a hatchback got butt implants.

It is a hatchback with butt implants. Sorry not sorry but this photo for some reason showed up when I searched for a four door.
Confirmed.

I was about to say that while the R26-R is still too young, there are also plenty of great things that nobody imports (a bit like peoples wanting manual wagons but not buying them) :)
Like a R21 Turbo :
Or a R25 V6 Turbo :
Or an Alpine A610 :
(the velours is actually from a GTA but that’s almost the same car)
Or a BX GTi :
Or an AX Sport :
Or a ZX 16v :
Or it’s sister the 306 S16 :
Or a 405 Mi16 or a T16 :
Or a 309 GTi :
Or a 106 Rallye :
I won’t put a 205 GTi because it’s too obvious !

Don’t be ashamed, the ads were not.
This one has already posted here some months ago, maybe by Svend (don’t have a memory that good) :
Or was it this one :
For the CC version of the Megane 2 :
At the end “Even when it’s closed, it’s opened !”.

Forgot about this one !

The first three would drive off risk adverse hatchback buyers over here by being too risque. The last two I have literally no idea how that is supposed to sell cars. I mean if I ever need to escape homicidal snowmen (noooo, my own creations!) I wouldn’t choose a Megane and if I wanted drive up and through a dragon who likes to steal road signs I wouldn’t choose a Megane. If I wanted to pop down to the shops in style I would choose a Megane.

Yes but you would slay a dragon with style like Fernando !

Those are not original Clio Williams wheels but S peedline S L675 wheels. They have similar design but different proportions. Maybe not originals but I do like them. Here are the originals.

Renault Megane eh... just strip out a Nissan Sentra and call it a day...

This is ‘Murica so I can slay a dragon in “style” whenever I want! Because I need a blinged out truck to drive up a dragon because “Jeep.”

Considering that nearly every Suzuki Sa murai imported to Canada has already rusted to death, I’m surprised I don’t see more imports of them from Europe (particularly Spain, where they were also built), since LHD is much more convenient.
I guess it’s a lot easier finding a low km, low priced example from Japan compared to Europe, even though they’re RHD there.

I just checked in my regions the cheapest Samurai all have rust issues or a broken transfer case, the ones without any big issue starts at 4000€.
But if you are interested in the turbo-diesel versions, you won’t find any in Japan :)
And if you are interested in newer Jimnys, they looks cheaper and there are more available than Samurais.

Just in case y ou haven’t understood, it’s Fernando Alonso in the Mé gane RS ad and the comparison to an US car would rather be to a muscle car :)
Maybe it’s a “subtle” message to say that the Mé gane is better than a Cobra.

Ah, ok, now it makes maybe a tiny bit of sense. It was really hard to see the car at all and I don’t watch F1 so I didn’t really get it. Not that I am in any way the target audience.
